Finally.

Ha! i finally found some harmonies for the first two bits of a new song I am working on... it started all a bit odd because i insisted on having the melody going via g#d#c# etc. so, with my limited knowledge of guitar chords it was simply impossible. transposing them all by 1 (i.e. a-e-d etc) made it a lot easier. However, now I am relying on the most basic chords (e, a, C and such). What can I say, great bands do that. And when I learn more chords, I surely will make use of them, too :)
Now I just need more text. and a chorus :D
